There is a line from my favorite iDOLM@STER song – Jibun REST@RT – that goes, “May this moment when everything is rewarded never end,” and that line has never been so applicable to the series than the latest entry, Stella Stage.

The Games We Played is a year-end round up of thoughts about games we spent time with.
It’s been a while since my beloved 765 productions has been featured on a portable title. The last “true” game were Shiny Festa for the PSP and iOS devices. You could count Must Songs for the Vita – but those were just skinned Taiko games. When Theater Days was announced for mobile I was excited, I would finally have my idols I know and love in my pocket once again.

I knew what I was getting into, but needed to experience it anyway.

A few weeks ago I said to a classroom, “List articles are very arbitrary,” I still stand by that statement. But I’m also a hypocrite, so here are two games that you should be playing on your tablet right now. Yes two. (And to be fair, I targeted top-five lists – not top-two.)

I’ve owned Platinum Stars since launch but I’ve never gotten
to write anything about it. It wasn’t because I didn’t enjoy it – in fact I
loved it. If PES 2017 and World of Final Fantasy didn’t come out
this year this game would be my GOTY. I loved it so much that I’ve forgotten to
write anything about it until I asked to do so.
