(Sorry, DDR isn’t on this list - I just like the MAX 300 look)

It’s been a while since we’ve done an arbitrary list on this site. So, for all the three readers that read my content, here are my picks for some rhythm games out in the market right now that you should consider picking up.
Note, depending on where you live some of these games may require importing.

I took a two-month hiatus from writing about video games. It wasn’t because I’ve fallen out of the medium, it was just that I had other obligations to fulfill such as focusing on graduation to get that fancy piece of paper saying I’m qualified to write about the news.
But whether you liked my writing style here or not, I’m back and there is no better way to launch a comeback other than a top-9 list (yes nine, not ten) because who doesn’t need any more of that in their life?
The following list is my top-9 favorite video games in no order, and I do want to note that this list is littered with personal anecdotes.

Ignore the clickbait title - or not, I mean this site is called clickbliss after all. A few weeks ago I posted up an editorial stating that the Switch wasn’t doing it for me - yet. However, the folks over at Namco has decided to #bless us with Taiko no Tatsujin for the Nintendo Switch.
And that changes everything for me.

My cousin was dropping me off at the airport and I asked if we could swing by any store. I didn’t know what I wanted but I’d figured I would find something to get for the four-hour flight back home.
I ended up getting a Switch. Six months later, was it a wise purchase?

The Games We Played is a year-end round up of thoughts about games we spent time with.
It’s been a while since my beloved 765 productions has been featured on a portable title. The last “true” game were Shiny Festa for the PSP and iOS devices. You could count Must Songs for the Vita – but those were just skinned Taiko games. When Theater Days was announced for mobile I was excited, I would finally have my idols I know and love in my pocket once again.

I knew what I was getting into, but needed to experience it anyway.

Walking on the touchline of the pitch, I gaze upon my eleven players as they line up. The national anthem is sung and the fireworks exploding in the background. The whistle is eventually blown and the game starts, but 48 seconds into the game, Los Angeles Galaxy scored against us. In a fit of rage, I jump up and my laptop flew off the table.

A series stuck in the depths of Capcom’s janitorial closet, Dino Crisis is a series – no matter how clunky or old - that every person who enjoys the medium should check out at least once in their life. Be it for five minutes or for the whole duration of the game.
