Every week we’ll be recommending you a game and an album to check out. I’m back on the scene this week with a true Disasterpeace.

In which I both tell you why I find it difficult to pick my favorite games and what a few of them are.
“What kind of music do you listen to?” It’s a moment I keep remembering, a girl I had just been introduced trying to get an idea of my tastes. “What’s on of the bands you listen to?” I wanted to reply with Disasterpeace, but I knew that with him not being a commonly known artist she’d have no idea what it meant. "Radiohead, I guess.“
With that she gave me an "ok” and the conversation was over. I should have said Disasterpeace.

In an ongoing show of hipster one-upmanship, I’ve elected to force yet another top albums list upon you, dear reader. Except this time I can’t even bother to use whole numbers. A combination of artists you probably never heard of and a few blatantly obvious hipster choices.
All that aside, I’ve curated a list for you that felt ambitious, personal, and meaningful to me. Some have made it to me recently, some represent defining moments of my life and musical taste. All of them are breathless passion, some kind of sonic poetry.
In no particular order, I present them to you below:

The Floor is Jelly is part of what I like to call “gallery games”. It sits alongside titles such as PixelJunk Eden, Nidhogg, and Proteus as games that would feel just as at home in a gallery as the screen in front of you. It’s a game that takes the titular concept and builds a world around the idea, inviting you to explore and understand it.
