Counting Crows and Command and Conquer? Yes.

By Kevin (@prufesuroak)

Counting Crows was always a band that I’ve loved since I was younger, though many think that they’re past their peak. And it’s easy to think that counting that they haven’t had a hit in what feels like eternity. And so my recommendation for this week is cover album they released in 2012, Underwater Sunshine (Or what with did this summer).

This album though is consisted of all cover songs from their heroes, contemporaries and those artist just from recent years but crowsified. You may think that this doesn’t count as a “real” album. And normally I would agree, but this is the Counting Crows, famous for reworking even their own songs during their live performances. Their performances of their songs are completely different from their album versions.

This a good feel good album to listen to in any situation.

Red Alert 2 specifically the Yuri’s Revenge expansion was a game I played a lot, way until the years when Windows Vista came along and stopped being compatible. Since then I’ve been trying to run it as others have but I was never successful, you could attribute to be dimwittedness…

Nevertheless I’ll have those memories. I’ll probably carry them until I die. I mean why didn’t they keep the deploy feature for my US troops. It’s just stupid, it doesn’t make sense, why take it out. Command and Conquer: Generals lost it and they didn’t bring it back for Red Alert 3. WHY? Also why leave all the other countries out. We had more nations available in Red Alert 2 than in the sequels.

That’s why I cling to this game, it was sooo much better. Excuse the graphics but I seriously just had more fun playing it than any other Command and Conquer game.
