Do you like cute-em-ups? Scratch that–do you like *cats*? Because I got a game for you and it is called Neko Navy.
In Neko Navy you’re a cat, see? And you fly around shooting all kinds of things. There’s a flying cactus. Now airplanes. A big battleship! Ahah, check out these cat-terpillars. Wait, is that a mannequin? Why am I shooting pills, and why are those NewAlone molecules from Metal Black here?
Neko Navy doesn’t care about the connective tissue between these, it just keeps sending you surreal combinations of objects to fire at. And you’ll wanna shoot em because they’ll explode and drop cats, which you can collect to fill up a bomb, which you can use to turn bullets and enemies into gems and *even more* cats which will fill up your bomb so you can get more ca–
Check this out. When you explode an enemy at point blank it’ll give you a Brave! bonus and shower you in cats so you can get an even bigger score. So you’ll want to rush forward and be Brave!, just like the little hunters you’re playing as.
It’s cute! This game is cute! It’s fun, and silly, and it has good music. I can’t think of a reason why you wouldn’t like this game, unless you dislike cats. Actually, to tell the truth, I don’t even like cats that much but you’d have to have a wicked empty heart to not like these cats.
