Every week we’ll be recommending you a game and an album to check out. Today I will be recommending Night Time, My Time by Sky Ferreira and Soul Sacrifice.
Night Time, My Time - Sky Ferreira
At first glance you think that you are listening to another synthpop album, but beneath that facade the album is laced with self loathing, depressing, and gritty lyrics that lay out the struggles of Sky. Sounds edgy and cliché right? But Sky manages to expose her struggles to the world in a mature and somber way.

Soul Sacrifice is a depressing, yet beautiful. The melancholy atmosphere in each stage does get boring and repetitive, but the beauty in the action. The fact that it is faster paced than your average “hunting” game, such as Monster Hunter and Ragnarok Odyssey, was the main highlight of the game. It doesn’t waste your time forcing you to grind to the ends of the earth for a decently leveled character. Yet you want to grind in this game because it does it right. Every battle is satisfying and it doesn’t feel like a chore. Soul Sacrifice is the hunting genre done right.
