Every week I will be showcasing one album and a video game that I feel everyone should check out in their spare time. Today, those two will be Sainthood by Tegan & Sara and Freedom Wars

I really hate the term, “Monster Hunter Clone”. Even though I’m guilty for using that term from time to time (in a jokingly matter) I despise it. While Freedom Wars does borrow some elements from Monster Hunter, it is completely its own thing, and dare I say, even somewhat better. Freedom Wars is a fantastic game. Unlike other hunting games, you can proceed through the game at your own pace with little to no consequences. It’s not a hard game but its also not a walk in the park. It does get repetitive, but what “hunting” game doesn’t?

Sainthood by Tegan & Sara

The soothing synth melodies can make your ice cream melt on a cold winter day. The lyrics are simple yet will fill your head with rhythm. It’s Tegan & Sara after all! The duo who is probably more popular than your favorite female artist in the country where Ethiopian Free Jazz was conceived. Just don’t forget to wear your stripped unisex shirt you bought at H&M while listening to this album.
